Abstract

This review explores the transformative role of telemedicine and telenursing in modern healthcare. Digital technologies such as the internet, video conferencing, and mobile phones have improved patient care by providing remote consultations and continuous monitoring of chronic conditions. Telenursing, as a key component of telemedicine, enhances nurses’ ability to deliver effective care through remote patient monitoring, medication management, and psychological support. The review examines the benefits of telenursing, including increased access to healthcare, improved patient outcomes, and reduced healthcare costs. In addition, challenges such as access to technology, data security, and the need for ongoing training for nurses are addressed. The integration of artificial intelligence into telenursing is also examined, highlighting its potential to personalize care and improve decision-making. The findings emphasize the need for further development in training and technology to maximize the impact of telenursing on healthcare systems.
