Abstract

Digital technologies have become critical in transforming nursing care practices, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery. Technologies such as electronic health records, telehealth, wearable devices, and artificial intelligence are revolutionizing nursing by streamlining documentation, enabling real-time patient monitoring, and improving communication between healthcare providers. However, despite the potential benefits, challenges remain in fully integrating these technologies into daily nursing practice, including training issues, adapting to rapid technological advances, and the need for interdisciplinary collaboration. This review explores the importance of technology in nursing, its impact on patient care, and the critical role nurses play in ensuring the effective use of these tools.
