This study investigates the role of Kampung Tangguh (Resilient Villages) in enhancing community resilience against climate change and natural disasters through social protection programs in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative research design, the study synthesizes existing literature and analyzes case studies to explore how these programs mitigate vulnerabilities and foster adaptive capacities at the community level. Data collection methods included document analysis, interviews with key stakeholders, and focus group discussions. The findings reveal that Kampung Tangguh initiatives integrate local knowledge with disaster risk management practices, addressing immediate needs while promoting long-term resilience. The study concludes with recommendations for adopting integrated approaches that combine social protection measures with community-driven resilience strategies, emphasizing the importance of localized and participatory frameworks in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
