The nursing profession is grappling with a crisis exacerbated by limited technological advancements in healthcare. Outdated systems, inefficiencies in patient care, and barriers to integrating modern tools contribute to increased workloads, communication challenges, and burnout among nurses. This review explores the technological landscape in nursing, highlighting the gaps and potential of innovations such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and advanced data analytics.
