Abstract

Building on the smart grid design for wind-based renewable energy systems presented in Paper 1, this study introduces an ANFIS-based intelligent controller to further optimize system performance. The ANFIS controller effectively manages the complex dynamics of wind energy generation, reducing Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and improving power quality. By minimizing harmonic losses, the proposed system enhances overall efficiency, ensuring better integration of renewable energy into the grid. The results demonstrate a significant reduction in THD and improved system stability, validating the potential of ANFIS for achieving optimized performance in renewable energy applications.
