Abstract

This research explores the impact of telehealth on nursing practice, highlighting its challenges and opportunities in reshaping patient care and healthcare accessibility. Telehealth has revolutionized nursing by integrating remote monitoring and consultations, especially in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated its adoption. The study analyzes how telehealth transforms nurses' roles, necessitating new skills and fostering a patient-centered approach. Despite its benefits, challenges such as ensuring quality care in virtual settings, technological barriers, and privacy concerns persist. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research collects quantitative survey data and qualitative interviews to provide a comprehensive understanding of telehealth's influence on nursing. The findings emphasize the need for ongoing adaptation to fully leverage telehealth while addressing the associated challenges.
