Abstract

In the modern healthcare landscape, telemedicine has enhanced nursing practice, improved access to healthcare, and improved patient outcomes. This review explores the transformative impact of telemedicine on nursing practice, emphasizing its role in remote triage, patient monitoring, virtual consultations, and mental health support. It also delves into the challenges of telemedicine implementation, including technology infrastructure, regulatory complexities, and digital disparities. The research highlights how telemedicine can improve chronic disease management, reduce hospital readmissions, and empower patients through digital engagement. Future directions such as regulatory standardization, advanced technologies, and comprehensive nurse training are discussed to ensure equitable and effective care in the digital age.
