Digital dentistry represents a radical transformation in the field of dental care, integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing, computed tomography (CT) and 3D printing to enhance diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflows and improve patient outcomes. This paper reviews the innovations driving digital dentistry, including intraoral scanning, virtual reality, teledentistry and digital smile design. The integration of these technologies ensures improved procedural accuracy, patient engagement and operational efficiency while addressing barriers such as high costs and training requirements.
