Abstract

Infection control is a critical aspect of healthcare delivery in public medical centers, where a high volume ofpatients with varying health needs are treated. Effective infection control measures are essential for preventing the spread of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and safeguarding the health of patients, healthcare providers, and the broader community. This study assesses the state of infection control practices among healthcare providers in public medical centers across Saudi Arabia. By examining providers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices, this research aims to identify strengths and areas for improvement in current infection control strategies. The findings can inform policy decisions and the implementation of targeted interventions to enhance infection control measures and ensure high standards ofpatient care and safety within public medical centers.
