Among these, pharmacists play a crucial yet often underappreciated role in addressing the opioid epidemic. This comprehensive review explores the diverse dimensions of pharmacists' involvement in combating the opioid crisis, emphasizing their responsibilities in patient education, medication management, and public health initiatives.Pharmacists are uniquely positioned within the healthcare system, serving as accessible healthcare providers who can engage directly with patients.
